Information I may collect
This may include your name, contact details, address or service location, appointment information, information about the device or technical problem you ask me to help with, communications with you, invoices and payment records, and limited technical information needed to diagnose or resolve an issue.
I do not intentionally collect passwords, PINs or banking authentication details. Please do not send these to me by email, WhatsApp or any other channel.
Why I use your information
- To respond to enquiries, provide quotes, arrange appointments and deliver services.
- To communicate about work you have asked me to perform.
- To issue invoices, maintain business and tax records and handle payments.
- To protect systems, prevent fraud and deal with complaints or legal claims.
Lawful bases
I normally process customer information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to perform a contract with you. I may also process information where I have a legitimate interest in operating and protecting the business, or where I have a legal obligation, for example tax and accounting requirements.
Who information may be shared with
Information is only shared where necessary, for example with email and hosting providers, communications providers such as WhatsApp where you choose to use it, accounting or payment providers, professional advisers, or authorities where required by law. I do not sell your personal information.
How long I keep information
Enquiry and service records are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for customer support, warranty or dispute purposes. Financial and tax records may need to be retained for longer periods to meet legal obligations. Where practical, unnecessary technical information is deleted after the work is complete.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, and receive information you have provided in a portable format. To exercise a right, contact me using the details above.
Complaints
Please contact me first if you have a privacy concern so I can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies and website analytics
This website is intentionally simple and, at launch, does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking pixels. The hosting provider may create technical server logs, such as IP address, browser and request information, for security, troubleshooting and service operation. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are added later, this notice and the site's cookie controls will be updated before those technologies are enabled.
Security
I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No internet or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive credentials or authentication codes electronically.
